Advertisement fails and perks

In the articles there where many techniques that worked for ads and advertisement and many that didn't. One advertisement that didn't work out good was ford because they where advertised only only commercials and none actually pays attention to commercials they just skip threw them if  they can or go to the kitchen to get a snack while they pass by. But on the other hand coca'cola worked and was successful advertisement because they put their name on everything of a tv showed called american idol they advertised so much to where the judges where actually drinking out of a big cup that said coca-cola that was their big sponsor and now when u see american idol you also see coca-cola. I think the way coca-cola advertised was best putting your name brand on everything that is visible so people remember and think back on your products and more. The more people see something the more they remember it. Advertisement is a big thing going on in the world today everyone wants there products and things to be seen.

The character I am choosing to write about is barbie. If you look at barbie from many years ago you would notice that she looked more sexy and she had less "pretty" features. The barbie use to look to the side with red lip stick all on her lips with her lips kind of puckered up.  They made her look sexy for the older groups of people would be interest and buy them. They were not really made for the younger generations. So back then they went for more of a sexy look but as of today the barbie is pretty and picture perfect. With big eyes that are pretty mouth centered and pretty the doll comes in different colors also. They made the barbie more for younger kids its a kids doll now. 

I feel the change of the barbie was important and smart. Because now they have boy and girl which is more sells for the company. Girls buy the girl doll and boys buy the boy doll. The made the doll look more pretty than sexy so little kids would find them more fun an there age group if they were still made how they where years ago they probably wouldn't have close to as many sales as they do now. This was important because now a days things have changed drastically!  The world has changed and what people llike to buy has to, we have to change as the world does change products and more for sales.

Pros and Cons!

1.One of my con's from the website for social media is , Social media can lead to stress and off life relationship problems. I feel like this con is interesting because i have been threw it , it causes major off line problems wiht other relationships because of what you post and say can offend others

2. Another con I found was social media cause people to spend less time interacting face to face. "98, Usc annedberg school center for the digital future, "special repurt : a melica at the digital turning point, "aneberg.usc.edu: I found this con interesting because its the biggest problem with the world today you cant even meet new people and have conversation because they are to worried about there phones.

The pro I found was social media is good for the economy "quentin hardy "mcksiey says social media could add 1.3 billion to economy, www.bitsblog.nytimes.com) This is interesting because social media is great for economy people do fundraisers on there and a lot of money from social medias goes to the economy to make the world a better place, and every one knows about social media in the economy.  

2. The last pro I found was social media spreads information faster than any other media.190. "lars willinat and david H weaver " The american journalist in the digital age : key finding ;news.india.cdu" This one I agree with because if i sit back and this about it how did I fist see that there was a school shooting about 5 years ago at sandy hook, i was on face book and seen articles pictures and videos of what was going on while i was in school. 

Why we game !

I found two similar motivations from the reading and the writing, one was in the video it was called stress reliever and the one in the reading is called fantasy. This means that gaming basically takes your mind off the real world and all of your problems. They supported that gaming was a positive impact on stress and things going wrong in your life, just takes your mind off of all of it. The second similar ones are depamen and winning feeling good, These basically mean like you are feeling good about yourself because you are finally  winning at something, the feeling of victory is one of the best feelings and we all like feeling. So when someone wins in a game or achieves a new level its a good feeling for them in both situations. These both where positive impacts on gaming. 

Past to present team sports in america!

The subject that I fist chose to write about is transportation past to present. If you think about it years ago when sports where played they would only play the same teams that where locally close of play people that could walk and meet up to. But now people travel all across the world to play against other teams like AAU and NBA basketball. People take planes to different states to play teams and play in tournaments. It all started with transportation from trains and buses here and there, but now its moved to cars planes and private jets. The world has come a long way when it comes to transportation. 

My second choice that I choose to write past and present about is the rules stage. Present rules everyone knew and they would never get changes up their rules where universal and simple in sports.Most people who played that sport knew the rules and how the game was played in a fair way. But present rules for sports have changed drastically. There are so many rules to sports today, There are rules on how long they can practice sometimes where they practice and more. All D1 athletes have to follow the NCAA rules if they are going to play that sport which also require certain grades in classes and lost of regulations. They have also added more rules to the actual game play like for an example they have changed the strike zones, in basketball you are no longer able to hang on rims longer than 5 seconds or you get a technical foul.

1. This Ad is a example of ad empowerment and are topic. This is a dove add where they explain by using the soap you are beautiful with them in their bras and underwear. Also they are different heights weights and colors.

2. When people think of a person running the world, they do no think of woman and in this ad its a woman enjoying herself in the shoes that they advertises that you can run the world in. She is smiling and make them look comfortable.

Points of view

The point of view I am going to use out of our group work is parents if teens who sext. One of the points we have down from the reading "parents should be protective" is parents can keep their teens aware and informed by having open conversations. Another example we used from this reading is Parents should be proactive rather than protective and reactive about talking to their teens about sexting and the situations. In the reading sharing without consent they say that 12.5 percent of teens are sharing and forwarding other teens sexting pictures without their consent.  This can relate to people in my group because they have all sexted before and they feel like if they would of gotten talked to and learned the actual consequences that could happen they would have though twice.
